Monkey is a work of art inspired by the most famous NFT “Bored Ape” but it is a new reading that involves a three-dimensional space composed of trees, grass and elements that give Monkey a new perspective and he is the center of the piece.

The colors are the main feature of the work because they give a feeling of good energy, they are vibrant and dynamic. I'm proud to have developed this art because I'm new to TiltBrush, the way to paint with different colors was a challenge because it was new to me mainly because I used it to build Monkey's body. For the grass I also explored colors and this composition gave me new ideas for future works.

My process for composing the art started with the Monkey build and then I built the environment. My experience with this art was intense and rewarding. I certainly felt that I crossed some boundaries of my artistic process and grew as a VR artist, Tilt Brush is a powerful tool to develop creativity and I am using it as a complement to improve my arts.

I'm not sure, but maybe I invested between 2h and 2h30 hours to finalize the concept and a few minutes to study the angle to record the video and it was more of a learning experience.

I hope that the VR artist community will grow as it is very fluid, dynamic and fun to work in this environment, your artistic skills and creativity are valued and benefited by the many features of the programs. For this work, I only used TiltBrush, but I have been experimenting with other programs and it is very intuitive, pleasant and fluid to develop artistic projects in virtual reality.

I think the main message for beginning artists is to let your mind and creativity do the work, because even if you are new to the program, in a short time you will understand all the interface and features, and even if you don't know everything, by letting your creativity flow chance of developing quality work is great.
